That “Canopy of Pink Blossoms” was what I saw outside my bedroom windows as a girl. My dad had planted a flowering cherry at the north east corner of our house, and when it bloomed, the windows glowed pink. It was as if my bedroom was set within a huge soft pink cloud. I’d be lost for what seemed liked hours then gazing up into that tree from the greengrass ground below, spring blue sky above… Thank you for evoking that fond memory.
